For my first travel weekend abroad I traversed the French Riviera. We stayed in Cagnes-sur-mer, which is a town right on the out skirts of Nice. Cagnes-sur-mer is a beautiful place and there is an amazing bakery there that we ate at every morning. For some reason we thought it would be a good idea to explore Nice the same day as taking a 3:51 am train, we were exhausted. The next day we trained to Antibes. In Antibes we walked around the city, rode an adorable ferris wheel, and went to the Picasso museum. From Antibes, we trained to Cannes. Cannes had a beautiful beach where we attempted to swim out to a platform in the ocean, but we were foiled by jelly fish. The next day we toured a perfumery in Eze and learned about how all the beautiful scents in perfume come to fruition. Our final destination was Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo is one of the wealthiest cities I have ever encountered, while we were there we witnessed a huge yachting convention lol. Monte Carlo was super windy and had beautiful views. The French Riviera is beautiful and a wonderful place to experience.
