Iceland's landscape is very reminiscent of The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. It constantly rained during my visit to Iceland, but the land and the people never failed to impress. The trip started in Reykjavik, which is the capital and true cosmopolitan hub of the small country of Iceland. The country of Iceland has a population of about 250,000 and is about the size of Kentucky, so the country is very rural. I visited the Westfjords, Silfra, and the Southern Coast.
