Holy cow the Dolomites are beautiful. The Dolomites were not super easily accessible and probably not practical for a weekend trip, but I think it was totally worth it. Everything in this mountain range is beautiful and is definitely worth the travel time. We went to the church of Saint Magdalena right around sunset and the light on the mountains behind the church was breathtaking. The next day we went to Lago di Braies, which had these beautiful wooden boats floating in the water. We also did a hike which offered a different perspective on the Dolomites. I would definitely recomend taking the time to visit.
